Pros

Many of the people I work with (the few that are left) are very nice and are like family.

Cons

Having to work every Saturday night to change over displays (cannot start until 8pm) is a joke. Then you are expected to come back into work on Sundays. There is nowhere near enough help to be able to run the center store departments the way they expect it, yet alone take care of customers! Stores could do so much more business and make both employees and customers a lot happier if they just added more labor. Help is cut so thin in all the departments that there is no time for sanitation. There is no full time help left anymore and the part timers keep getting their hours cut to the point where they are quitting. The store suffers as a result. Then one person calls out and you are really screwed! They do not want management doing all of the physical work, but that is impossible when there is nobody else to do it. Also the ordering system (CGO) is horrible! It takes just as much time, if not longer, than the old way of ordering, and the in-stock conditions and backroom conditions have gotten worse....but the company will never admit to that after spending millions of dollars on it. Instead of wasting money on all these programs that don't work, get help in the stores!

Pros

On Sundays they pay you $8.00, versus the usual $7.25. The cash register program is simple and efficient.

Cons

Not sure if its every Weis, or just mine, but minors can only work 4 hour shifts, so if they give you two days a week, you end up only working 8 hours the entire week. Plus, you need a manager to come and put in his key if you are scanning too many coupons
