      Good job when your in school

      Pros

      Fairly good part time job when I was in school. Employees were nice and so was management. I got a pay increase every 6 months but it wasn't much.

      Cons

      I was part time and there was a lot of weeks that I ended up working over 40 hours and was only getting paid minimum wage.

      NONE horrible place to works

      You name it. My son got written up as he left last Thursday during the blizzard here so that he could make it home safely. Called off the next day and they harassed my home by calling like every hour to see if he could come in. Has worked there for almost 4 years and is only making $8.00 an hour. I keep telling him to find another job but he has not but I think this may be it. Managers throw all their work on him and expects him to get it all done.While working there his manager said he will refuse customers to use the rest room. Management there does NOT care about customers. I refuse to shop at Weis anymore.

      Pros

      Provided you are dedicated there is the option to advance. I developed strong bonds with my co workers and management team. Most customers are friendly and likewise developed great relationships with them. The people I worked with and served made the job enjoyable. Short commute, many locations within my area.

      Cons

      Very few full time positions available. PT kept under 30 hours a week and discouraged from going over hours. My store had not been updated in 30 years and it felt like the company often overlooked us.
