      Work is close to home.

      Wouldn't be a bad job if management practiced what is in the handbook...RESPECT YOUR FELLOW ASSOCIATES AND CUSTOMERS.

      Pros

      The employees can be very nice and weekly paychecks. It is not bad as a first job and cashier shifts become very easy.

      Cons

      There a many different levels of management and they all have conflicting views on what should be done in each section. The drastic decrease in budget limits the employees in each department and has customers complaining often. Many workers are required to do multiple jobs without a small pay raise. Many workers who are not able to meet the incredibly high demands have to work off the clock and are not compensated or they face termination.

      Pros

      Like I said the people are really nice and hard working and will lend a hand if asked. You get a 10% discount on private brand items.

      Cons

      No windows for the majority of people. In the winter your at work at 7 and you don't see the sun rise and you leave at 5:30-6:00 and it has already set. So be prepared to work long hours. Management does not have direction and they pile the work on the grunts.
