Pros

The physical labor was good exercise.

Cons

- I was repeatedly pulled away from assigned duties for other tasks, only to be reprimanded for being away from assigned duties by the same superiors telling me I'm not allowed to refuse other tasks. - I was given tasks to do without the proper equipment to do them. - Rules on how to do certain tasks would change abruptly and frequently, yet I would not be properly re-trained to accommodate. - Was repeatedly made to switch between tasks that took place in a fridge and then out in the hot summer heat, back and forth, multiple times a day. Frequently spent way longer out in the sun than would be considered healthy for the skin. - Had several work weeks where I worked alone on a task that would normally require at least 2 people, and which required lifting heavy loads, with no supervision. - My hours were cut dramatically, without prior notice or a stated reason, during my last 6 months. - My PTO requests were ignored. - When asked to do overtime, I was not paid for obliging. - Was once reprimanded for being 6 minutes into a 10-minute break. - I was threatened with a lawsuit by a superior for an alleged incident that occurred on a day I was not scheduled to come in, causing me to quit out of fear for my family's safety.
