Pros

Great people, lots of collaboration. Firm has immense resources and access to management teams, experts, and sell-side resources. Opportunity to work with some really brilliant people.

Cons

The organization is very opaque, probably rooted in the private partnership structure. There isn't a well structured process for providing feedback to employees. The company feels pretty large, and sometimes its easy to get lost in the shuffle.

This is a very professional company. They offer decent compensation, competitive for the industry. Benefits are good as well. Quality of people working for this company is top-notch.

Cons

Depending on the department you are in, upward mobility might be a challenge. Would have stayed if there had been more room for career growth. When I was there, flexible work arrangements were frowned upon rather than supported.
