      Pros

      The only good thing about Wellington is the comp. It's better than average for the industry and city. But it doesn't make up for the toxic work environment.

      Cons

      Independent thinking is only permitted within "safe" bounds. Most of the cult members care only about the views of their bosses, and don't dare risk challenging "the culture."

      Bunch of really smart colleagues to work with

      I’m reporting into my manager who is 5 years my Junior but has spent his entire 10 year career at Welington while i bring in 1.5 decades of experience at a couple of storied banks but that counts for nothing at Wellington since i didn’t come through the ranks here.

      Great group of people to work with who are very talented; opportunity to take on new projects and own space during period of change

      Cons

      Pay is below industry standard; culture has changed over the last few years and lost a lot of what used to make it great; work life balance is not what it once was.
