It's almost impressive how senior leadership has torpedoed the once-great culture and reputation of a ~100 year firm in under two years. What used to be an incredible shop full of the sharpest and kindest in the business has been upended in the blink of an eye. Mass layoffs, poor business results, and incompetent leadership teams have taken the life out of Wellington. Morale is in the gutter. Performing countless reorgs with no clear vision doesn't help sentiment. Many have already left and countless more privately discuss wanting to leave. This current climate is not sustainable and word is getting out.

Since the new leadership team took over, Wellington has fallen off of a cliff. The amazing culture they constantly tout is completely dead and everyone is desperate to leave before they go down with the ship. Leadership plays favorites, and allows toxic managers to continue their horrible behavior towards associates. If it gets bad enough, they just transfer the abusive managers to a different group to reset. Many junior level employees have tried raising issues, but they are swept under the rug and then threatened with termination if they don't fall in line. Middle managers disguise the horrible treatment of employees by gaslighting them and telling them it's their performance that is the issue, not the company itself. Consider this company if you like being verbally abused and don't enjoy job security.
