Became too large of an organization

Pros

because it is so large, the benefits are good. They have good outplacement services if you are displaced.

Cons

not knowing who to call b/c of the complexity of the organization. Due to layoffs, the current employees are doing the job of 2 people and are burnt out. The HR department is horrendous to work with. First you need to navigate the phone tree. Then, if you don't get the right department, they put you back in the phone tree. To get a situation resolved, you get passed around to several people b/c it is too large a group to work with.

Pros

It is an awesome place to work. The management team is very friendly and want to see you succeed. They will help you with anything you need

Cons

You do not get two days off in a row which is kind of a bummer for plans or a long relaxing weekend.

Pros

Benefits, some cool people work there depending on where you are, safe and consistent with guaranteeing hours and a structure to move up

Cons

Unbelievably full of corporate b.s., Get rated and observed multiple times daily by service managers and other employees. Tons of acronyms that need to be followed as a symbolic guide of how to do your job and "exceed expectations." Rigorous sales and service platform which is designed so that even the stupidest person in the world who follows it will do at least o.k. Same platform which dictates almost every word you speak to a customer in your brief interactions applied across the entire continental U.S., at each location and with each customer. It is a sales job, to the surprise of many who apply. Some people just want to get in and out and don't want to chat or get sold a bunch of products and services, but you use the same platform with each person or you get "feedback" to explore your "opportunities" of how to perform better customer service (i.e. using their name 3 times, building rapport, makings a sales recommendation with each customer)
