Pros

In the current mortgage climate, Wells seems to still care about the consumer and not just the bottom line. The benefits were the best I've had in the 18 years in the mortgage business. Seems to attract good people.

Cons

Just the mortgage business in general is a very difficult environment right now. A large percentage of people don't qualify for a home loan and those who do are prone to wander if the rates drops even a tiny bit. Hard to keep people happy.

Pros

Huge opportunity for advancement as long as performing well. Mostly everyone has a very positive attitude. Motivating competitive environment.

Cons

The commission structure doesn't allow for the best compensation. Once you hit Manager position there is not really anywhere else to go.

Pros

Flexible schedule (part-time); Good hours (no sundays); Mangement was helpful and sincere; Great co-wokers; good training and work/life balance; overall good.

Cons

As a teller, it was sometimes hard to meet the goals (opening accounts, cross-selling bank products). That was about it.
