Pros

as management, you have 40 hours no matter what, even in winter which is a perk. overtime is available if you want it. flexible scheduling to a degree.

Cons

pity raises. the corporate managers are completely out of touch with what its like to run a store anymore. awful employee turnover. maintenance never does anything when there are legitamate severe problems on a weekend, even when they are "on call".

its a job to first jump start your career, by either climbing ranks into management or just get a taste of a job in the real world.

Cons

Not many pay raises, and not much room for growth for most employees bar the few that go into management
