Unfortunately, the leadership and organizational structure were very poor. There was little to no interdepartmental communication, which often left me acting as the messenger between departments just to get basic tasks completed. This caused frequent delays in receiving my truck, scheduling repairs, and getting new assignments. The lack of coordination created an unprofessional and frustrating work environment.
The main reason I left was due to the company’s refusal to pay my breakdown pay for seven days. I had chosen to save them money by taking an Uber home instead of requiring a hotel stay, but instead of recognizing that effort, they denied me the pay I was entitled to. This lack of fairness and accountability ultimately made it clear that this was not a company I could continue working for.
