      Pros

      Front line managers and employees are hardworking and contribute much to the communities they serve.

      Cons

      Young professional bankers should stay away from this organization. The culture is poisoned by years of management through intimidation, deceit and self-serving egos. Management does little to celebrate success, and in fighting among senior management is the norm.

      Pros

      -Promoting from within -Pay is okay, benefits aren’t bad -Not too strict or corporate-esque. Relaxed work environment, at least in retail.

      Cons

      -Communication/assistance between internal departments is a joke. -The company prides itself in expanding and “merging” (buying out) other banks but doesn’t want to hire or retain a sufficient number of internal support employees to handle increased workload. Atmosphere in each market is completely different, nobody has a definite answer for anything. Finding help usually means a long chain of calling department after department to ultimately hang up and make a decision on your own.

      Pros

      I have the opportunity to work with a lot of good people. For the most part people are warm and willing to help. Pay is comparable. Expectations are fair. Benefits are comparable. Vacation is comparable and personal time is very generous.

      Cons

      It has its corks like any other company but nothing awful. Some higher level managers you need to watch out for, mid management is great.
