Wonderful coworkers, great experience, great exposure to how the mental health system works within a school setting. Supervision provided.

Cons

Middle management was terrible. Not helpful at all during crisis, not at all understanding of the burnout aspect. Always told to just do more or push through. Setting was genuinely traumatizing and harmful at times

WFS is an ethical company that has it's employees interests in mind.

Cons

The pay will keep you just above the poverty line but this is a systemic problem in our country due to lack of funding and typical of non-profit organizations primarily reliant on government funding.

Variety of hours available Benefits are reasonable with 3 weeks PTO available the first year for full time position

Cons

Understaffed Management doesn’t listen to health concerns, concerning clients Underpaid Management wants to dump you in a care position with minimal training or making sure the client is comfortable with you. Pressured to work alone after only working with the client for 3 days. Required to full assist/lift handicapped individuals alone.
