Poor Management and Culture

Pros

The work was very specific and consistent. It was nice to know what you were doing each day/week/month.

Cons

A poor culture where you feel like you are just a cog in the machine. Managers are too caught up in the process, to actually try to figure out what can help you do the job. There was minimal effort made to have the team feel cohesive. If you do not conform to how the team currently acts, you will feel like an outsider. There is poor training for the tasks that you will be given as well. If you ask questions/challenge why something is done a particular way, the answer you will receive is: - Thats the way we have always done it, so just do it that way - Thats just the way I need you to do it and I dont need you to know why.

Work hard, play hard

Pros

Organization puts alot of effort into making employees feel appreciated, by organizing events year-round, giving all employees generous gift cards ($75+) for Nov/Dec holidays, and using a program that allows employees and managers to give public recognition to each other along with points that can be used to purchase items from an online catalog.

Cons

Turnover activity was very high with senior leadership over the past couple of years, which alot of employees found distressing, however turnover has slowed down considerably over the past few months.

Don't do it

Pros

work from home 1 day a week paid schooling after 6 months

Cons

pay is not enough for the tasks and programs they will have you running. If you don't want work drama, don't even bother applying. Management lacks leader ship. No leaders just micromanagers. Playing the role just to get paid to leave home early
