Pros

I’ve worked at West Gate throughout college as a part time teller. It is such a welcoming bank that is very community focused. Pay is competitive, with yearly raises. I’ve really enjoyed working here.

Cons

Working weekends, 2 Saturdays a month are required, but with short staff, you usually end up working at least 3.

Pros

I love working at West Gate Bank because my colleagues are caring and they have great sense of humors. Work wise, the more referral you get, the more bonus you will get in your paycheck. We work together as a team to reach our account and referral goals. When we do, we are rewarded not only with a healthy boost in our paycheck, but we also received a free branch dinner. If you enjoy helping customers, this job is a great place to jump start your career.

Cons

West Gate Bank's systems are not as updated as the other banks' are. It only has branches in the Lincoln community which might be fine for certain individuals, but for someone with an international business degree like me, I don't see myself working here long term. For me, it also lacks diversity because it has predominantly white employees. I am the only minority at my branch.
