Pros

As far as door to door work goes, working here was great. Very flexible schedule and hours, manager was very understanding and communicative. Get to be outside and stretch your legs

Cons

You are knocking on people's doors, so if that's not your thing you will hate this job. 99% of the houses had not heard of the study and weren't aware they were contacted by mail. So it's "cold calling" style. Also, the laptop and software you have to use is archaic, kind of annoying...

Pros

If you don't like loyalty, strong leadership or a positive vision for the future, this would be a good fit.

Cons

Lots of lay offs. Last round saw 40 people go, at least 11 of whom had worked there for 15 - 30 years each. Pay is not great and the current leadership does not value their employees and has no vision for growing the company.

Pros

Results and value based company, supportive work environment, pretty great benefits (although always room for improvement there), remote work/hybrid work schedule options, ability to work on different projects and refine/gain new skills, contribute to business development, collaborative work environment, 9 days of sick leave in addition to PTO and can be used flexibly, professional development opportunities, employee owned and ESOP, there are 4 weeks of paid parental leave (which is also a con because that’s not very long) They are also responsive to change and do regularly update benefits, pay, general policies and procedures to be more competitive and efficient.

Cons

Doesn’t recognize OPM holiday schedule so not all federal holidays are recognized, even though our clients will be off on those days. 7 official holidays + 2 floating days to redeem when we want. There are 11 total holidays on the OPM schedule as of 2023. Max PTO days per year is 15-20 (depending on grade level) Paid parental leave is only 4 weeks.
