Abusive Environment

Pros

Some nice people, good location, garage parking

Cons

One of the worst companies I have ever worked for. Trying to stay motivated and focused is a challenge. Nobody trusts anybody, people are publicly humiliated, there is yelling, screaming, cursing, and no respect for anybody, especially the women. In one week I saw three different women crying, I would never let my wife or daughter work here. Executives manage with fear and intimidation and make no attempt to explain company strategy. This place is a ticking bomb.

Western Alliance Bank Response

Thank you for your review. It is difficult to respond to such a broad-brush categorization of our company. Just two things: We’d invite you to talk further with HR or with your manager about your concerns, so we can understand more about what you have observed, and about your own needs and goals. And second, Western Alliance is privileged to have a high level of client satisfaction based almost entirely on the outstanding work of people who thrive in our banking businesses. Clearly this has not been your experience, which we regret. If you would be willing, we would like to know more about your concerns so we can try to address the issues you cite, and make our company better for all.
