Pros

Family atmosphere, good leadership. The people there build strong, collaborative relationships. There is a strong focus on partnership with the community, so most of the people who work there are very active with non-profits.

Cons

More of an unknown. I worked there before it was acquired by Sterling & Umpqua, so I don't know how that changed things. At the time I worked there, some of the branches were long past renovation.

Pros

Bank is very involved in the communities in which they are located.

Managers spend a lot of time behind a teller window. No real sales structure.

Pros

Meet some great people while working there.

Cons

There is no corporate HR function. Senior Management was not organized and communication was poor. The Internal Audit department lacked experience and was poorly managed. The company has no clear mission.
