Cons

Pay is below market. The Bank recently became too political and too bureaucratic. HR is not helpful and difficult to deal with.

Thank you for your feedback. Western Alliance regularly reviews its compensation program to ensure that it is competitive with our industry peers. It's important to remember that your paycheck is just one component of your total compensation. As you mentioned, we have a generous 401(k) match and team members are eligible for an annual bonus. We also have a robust education reimbursement program and recently launched LinkedIn Learning. We are glad you discussed your compensation with your manager, but we also encourage you to reach out to your HR representative. We are always open to re-evaluating pay ranges deemed too low. Thank you.
