Western Iowa Tech Community College reviews

I suspect there is age bias in hiring - especially in IT, Recruiting & Student Services. I've known highly qualified people over 35 who applied but were never interviewed and the positions were filled by 20-somethings with no experience and sometimes no education in the area hired for (especially in IT). Top management micromanages horribly! Long-term employees operate from point of fear and it seems that's what the majority of the top managers want. Mindset of top management

The President and leadership team keep many in the dark about true motives, especially faculty members. Many people are quitting. Supervisors fail to listen to issues. It is all about money and getting students in the door. Students are ill prepared and dangerous. Acts of violence are rising on campus.
