Pros

Great environment. Relaxed, easy to talk to individuals. Low stress most of the time. The pay could be better for technical jobs, but it seems like it's fair for the public sector.

Cons

Being a Student Employee, at times you may not be given access that would make your job easier. These include, set of keys, or certain computer privileges. Some employees have the "just clock in and out" mentality.

Pros

Beautiful area, great campus, committed colleagues and supportive staff. So much to take advantage of both on campus and off that it's hard not to want to stay forever.

Cons

Very low pay compared to similarly sized universities. Great if you like rain and 45 degree weather 80% of the year.
