Pros

Really enjoyed time there and would have loved to stay if not for the sudden changes from initial agreed-upon hiring conditions. Rigorous and in-depth training that will expose you to a lot of scenarios and information. Very helpful, caring, and kind direct supervisors that will aid with all sorts of questions and concerns. Friendly coworkers that would help each other out in a group effort. Potential to learn a lot about hospitality industry/timeshare real estate in general.

Cons

Higher management changes and constant "restructuring" happening behind the scenes. Rapid and seemingly random changes that will impact you and your life- and you will be the absolute last to know. Higher management does not provide any sense of security, stability, or empathy. Do not get comfortable. Have a backup ready just in case.

Pros

Decent benefits if you like to travel Okay job if you're desperate and plan on finding another ASAP. Use it as a stopgap. Management at the lower levels are very nice, great people. It's the COOs, CEOs, and executives that have no compassion and have no idea how their own departments are supposed to run.

Cons

Family-owned business and the family all hate each other, so they can't work together. Leads to dysfunction. Doesn't help the leaders are all just soulless corporate drones who will shut down your entire department right before Christmas without even having a way to replace them. Incredibly unethical business. Legal? Sure, most of the time just barely, but it's really tough sticking around in a job where you know the majority of your customers were played by the awful salespeople. Yes, they have measures to ensure it's legal, but they know what they do is immoral. Executives that only care about the bottom line. Is your department useful and provide good service? Doesn't matter, let's cut it so that our yearly numbers look good. Quality be damned. If you want to move up, it's not going to be based on merit. Office politics are king. Doesn't matter if you're the best, it's all about kissing ***.
