Pros

It is pleasent to work in Westinghouse. Good working atmosphere, specially for learning and developing in this industry. Technical leaders in Westinghouse are, in general, willing to support and teach young engineers. Flexibility to balance work/life.

Cons

Salaries are low. There are many Westinghouses depending on the location. Promotions, salaries and opportunities change a lot between US and other sites (Europe).

Pros

Good competitive pay. Good people and generally good work dynamic. Lower levels of management are very supportive of their staff. Great environment to learn in, and you will learn a lot real fast.

Cons

Company is not doing well at the moment. Morale is low. CEO makes short sighted decisions that decrease morale and cut costs in one way, but hurt the comapny in bigger ways. Very specialized and hard to translate skills to another industry if you leave.
