Excellent company who's current executive leadership stinks
Pros
I worked at the corporate headquarters for over 16 years. The team that I worked on was excellent. My immediate leadership was responsive, flexible and supportive. Weyerhaeuser allows immediate leadership quite a lot of autonomy. While this can make for tremendous differences from business function to business function, it empowers leaders to support their employees as the employees support the businesses. I also have the opportunity to have several varied and different jobs/careers during my time there. If you are someone who likes to make career changes and seek new challenges, there are opportunities to do so.
Cons
In 2016, the company moved their Corporate Headquarters to the armpit of downtown Seattle, known as Pioneer Square. The commute combined with the location (we were told it's a neighborhood in "transition") makes working for the corporate region of Weyerhaeuser less than a one-star rating for this review.
