Nothing I can think of.

Cons

Middle management doesn't know how to treat people with respect. I was called at 2:00 AM because mill was down. I was not paid any comp time or any overtime. The excuse that my manager gave me is that I am exempt employee, so I have to work whenever mil managers need me. I couldn't plan my weekend at all.

Good salary and benefits Good co-workers - competent Work is interesting and rewarding Many resources available to get job done Millions and millions of trees -- the foundation of this company

Cons

Culture of company took 180 deg change about 10 years ago after merger with another forest products company. Once people were respected and their ideas appreciated. Now the company is run with a top-down, command and control management style (popular in the mid-20th century). Threats, authority and fault-finding are key tools used in this style of management.
