Shift managing IS your life

Pros

Opportunity for advancement, bonuses (if you work in a newer store that doesn't require that you call in maintenance because you lose your bonus that way), good training program, 501(k)

Cons

10 hour long shifts, being paid hourly in a fashion that includes 10 hours of OT a week which is how they figure out your yearly salary when you discuss it during negotiations, mediocre health insurance, days off are not always consecutive (which could be a selling point if you like that sort of thing)

Pros

When I came to work everyone there was very team oriented and fairly accommodating whenever I needed any assistance for anything.

Cons

When someone is out sick it can get extremely busy feeling so the pressure can sometimes feel a bit overwhelming to keep customers wanting to return.
