Pros

I keep seeing these bad reviews and I cant help but to think how these are even true. I feel as if all bad reviews are written by former employees that got released because of their own faults or actions. This company helped me during the summer for the past few years while I was out of school. Great time here, great opportunity to get in the door as a entry level recruiter to learn the corporate world. My major is in marketing and advertising and I do believe recruiting here has helped me to be able to talk to people. Management is great CEO is very friendly can be tough but he reminds me of my father very passionate and proud of his company. I worked on several different projects while I was here and learned almost everything about each project this company works. Upper management from the director to the new recruiting manager to the team leads were very helpful during my progession. New management they brought in took my opinions and allowed me to see how a company should be structured, he did come in very strong but very knowledgable about recruiting and he knew how to make structure for the company to help grow. Just like any other production based company we did have goals to meet and if we didn't hit the goals we were given several chances to improve and if not then yes we were let go, but again this a production company. As I returned back to school I am eligible to return during my summer again company works with its employees as long as we are doing what is asked of us.

Cons

Can be stressful at times but that is because we had to hit numbers. Could pay a little better but it is entry level and some employees/recruiters were bad influence on other recruiters. One lead I can think off of the top of my head would talk down to you as if she was the queen of the world, then she was demoted which I believe was a blessing.

Worst job you could have

Pros

Ha. There's literally nothing positive to say about this company. You'd probably enjoy flipping burgers more than working here. Just don't do it

Cons

Everything. From the CEO that comes off as a sleazy salesman, to the incompetent managers, this company is awful. They lie about everything and even encourage you to lie to the candidates to try and get them to take a job they really don't want. Working here will make you feel like scum because that's who runs it. Need motivation? You won't find it here. Instead they'll just threaten your job on a daily basis. See the positive reviews here? They're all fake. Literally everyone who works there hated their job and is actively seeking a better one because Wheeler has no future. Want good pay? Ha. They say they give you "entry level pay" but other companies pay $4-$5 more an hour for their entry level recruiting jobs. Want benefits? Good luck. They claim "a number of our employees receive benefits," which is honestly less than 10 people. There's no pto and they will try to shame you if you request off or get sick. This job will make you wish they would fire you, and they probably will if you don't walk out first because their turnover rate is horrendous. Do yourself a favor and don't work here, it's not worth it

Thank you for your post. I am sorry both that you were let go from Wheeler and that you feel so strongly opposed to our company. These are some very harsh, extreme, and some flat out untrue statements that we would invite you to take up with HR so that we can quickly address them. I firmly believe honesty is the best policy and therefore we would never encourage lying to candidates much less to our employees. Our upper management works around the clock to better our company but unfortunately we will never be able to please everyone. We sincerely wish you the best of luck in your next endeavor and again invite you to reconcile things with us by contacting HR.

Pros

This is the first Professional Office job that I have ever had and I really enjoy it. Most of the work is pretty simple and if you like being on the phone its really fun. the people are nice and the environment is pretty laid back.

Cons

leads and managers will harass you if you are not making enough calls. strict attendance policy could be relaxed.

Thank you for your post. We are happy to hear that you are enjoying your first office job! Because our clients also work on deadlines, production is KEY. With that, being present and making the calls necessary to meet the goals of our clients is imperative to this job. While we certainly will talk to you and get to the bottom of why someone might not be meeting their goals, I believe "harass" is a strong word.
