      Pros

      At Wheels Inc, there is an amazing work-life balance. Your co-workers become your friends and not just your co-worker. The pay is okay for the hours worked! This place actually has supervisors that care about you and not just for the work you complete. They are willing to jump right in the trenches and work with you. Upper management also has an open door policy.

      Cons

      There are no casual days here! Kind of unfortunate that we can't keep it casual on Fridays or holidays. Not in chicago, so for some that would be a con, but it is just off the interstate.

      Pros

      For most of my several years, Wheels was an organization who first and most importantly, owned the market. Very financially stable and recognized the value and effort of all levels of employees. Jim Frank took the time to get to know everyone's name and in my opinion, people work harder and more effectively because they truly felt valued. Wheels was a blue chip company while also being generous to the community and the employees.

      Cons

      Over the past year or so, the culture appears to be changing towards more of the GE model where people are 'head count' and 'resources' with very little public demonstration of increased value to the market or generating increased customer satisfaction. Is the company being prepped to be taken public or sold?

      Need serious changes in IT leadership especially Quality Department.

      Pros

      Great company to work for as the company owners really care about their people but have the wrong people in IT leadership.

      Cons

      Problem is with some IT directors as someone mentioned earlier they run it as dictators. Recent changes in Quality Department are ridiculous and leadership hires people who are not qualified for the job and only from vendors who they have personal relationships with. I feel like many of us are given hard time as we do not share the same culture.
