Pros

Whereoware has been a wonderful company starting out. Several things worth pointing out are within the overall atmosphere. Since WOW is a small to medium sized business, it allows the management team to easily help everyone get acquainted with the overall job feel. My fellow team members have been wonderful helping me get setup in my developer area. WOW does fun and interesting things such as having a an employee recognition program where we can gift out kudos points, a celebration once a month for all employees with anniversaries that month, and a weekly All Hands meeting to give shout outs to recent successes. The hiring process was wonderful and easily streamlined. All expectations were made clear throughout the entire process. I look forward to making a full career at WOW by achieving the expectations placed in front of me.

Cons

WOW is a busy place, so although it has been great getting acquainted, there still is a lot of work to get used to. Although, not a full con and more so the expectation of onboarding, there is just a lot of legacy client knowledge to pick up on in a short amount of time.

Pros

Remote work, coworkers, experience to add to your resume

Cons

- Don't expect any proper onboarding/training when you join - Management doesn't respect lower level employees - Management prioritizes overseas contractors over full time employees - Due to high employee turnover they are constantly short staffed, and expect the rest of the team to make up for that gap - Time tracking is awful. You have to log your time in 15 minute increments. If you log 40 billable hours you are really working at least 45 hours because there are no time codes for admin stuff like emails/communication and entering time.

Pros

-Small company, entrepreneurial environment where we are doing big things -No drama culture with a group of high integrity people all trying to do the right thing -Lot's of flexibility and trust -Very diverse team including at the leadership level

Cons

-Whereoware is a digital agency so the fast pace of agency life isn't for everyone -As a fully remote agency there isn't as much in person face time as I would like
