Close to home; it's the only hospital on this rural island. If you like Kool-Aid, there is plenty of it there.
Cons
Pre-meditated, systematic hostile work environment condoned and encouraged by an administration that rewards department managers, house supervisors, and staff who agree to do administrations' bidding. Eliminates senior staff at all costs, replacing them with less experienced employees, which equals less pay. This is a two-fold scheme: to save money and to create a cult environment that prefers to employ like-minded Machiavellians. Administrators publicly praise and commend those who display unethical behavior toward a vulnerable population (the patients), and who violate all sensibilities by allowing abusive employees to continue working there.
