Pros

The products are on the cutting edge of technology competing well against some large players in the space. The company has most of the good aspects of both a start-up (casual work environment, flexible schedules, less paperwork) and a +20 year-old medium-sized company (stability, money to pay for proper equipment and travel, company social events). There is also a great sense of a company community where employees all know and respect each other. People look forward to coming to work.

Cons

Vacation / benefits could be better. Hard work is the norm, not an exception. High pressure to meet certain deadlines without rewards. Company can sometimes be spread too thin when focusing on new endeavors.

Pros

we work on interesting problems, and our overall goal is to help people learn about their home and activities using energy data.

Cons

the pace is very fast, and there is continual requirements to move fast while ensuring we document our decision making process.
