Pros

Training is Extensive - people invest in you. Work is thought provoking - interesting candidates & jobs to source for. Team is collaborative - straddling the right line between competitive and encouraging. Opportunities to develop further, and make more money while growing skillset. Tight knit group on a team and company level.

Cons

Time Management is a must - especially once you're a few months into things. Being diligent will keep your work-life balanced, if not you will have to course correct and make up time elsewhere.

Great Place to work and Invest in Yourself

Pros

Great Training Platform for people to learn the Recruitment Business. The culture is very open and allows people to pave the way for themselves. Lots of company outings, which really plays into the work hard/play hard culture. Strong commission structure.

Cons

The main con isn't geared towards WhiteCap, but more about the industry. When you're new you really have to put in the time and energy to build up your candidate pipeline or client pipeline. It isn't your typical 9-5.

Uncapped amount of Opportunities with Growth!

Pros

If you are willing to dedicate yourself to your role and the industry, you will be able to find growth, at all levels, with the ability to get promoted every six months. You do not need employees above you to leave in order to take on more, if you are ready, the company wants you to take on more responsibility and get to that next level. They want to know your goals and what growth looks like to you from day one so you can constantly strengthen your skillset and evolve within your career.

Cons

Not something specific to WCS, just within the industry as a whole, but sales can be tough. You have to be able to accept rejection and turn that fire into closing your next deal.
