Pros

- Association with MIT allows for a high ceiling for career growth - Great cafeteria - Good health insurance

Cons

- Depending on the lab some PIs/managers can be toxic. HR and other management fails to correct this even while being aware to the toxic behavior of others. - Elitism - Facilities are a little outdated considering the institute's prestige - Salary could be better - Lower level workers, i.e. employees who are not PhD holders or grad students, aren't always treated well.
