Pros

Brilliant and interesting coworkers. Interesting art.

Cons

Any corner that can cut will be the bread that they keep off of your table and take out of your mouth. They keep people poor and trap them in dead-end jobs by not allowing them to transfer or advance, while encouraging them to have false hopes of being allowed to grow. I've never been involved with an organization with less regard for workers. They endeavor to be seen as a progressive institution, but the view from inside shows the opposite of that.

Pros

Meeting people from all over the world. Networking opportunities. Excellent co-workers.

Cons

Poor management. They were very aggressive when issuing directives and it resulted in a toxic work environment.

Pros

Having the opportunity to view the exhibitions before it's open to the public. With your Whitney ID, you can visit other museums in NYC for free.

Cons

Be prepared to be on your feet a lot. You must wear a uniform (sadly they are all bright colors).
