- People are amazing, collaborative, not competitive. - Higher management is approachable and open. Just reach out. Put yourself out there. Make yourself noticed. - Flexible hours, ability to work from home (depending on your manager). - Work-life balance. No expectation to ever stay late. - Many teams, opportunity to apply to other internal jobs, and own your career. - Tuition reimbursement. - Vacation time is simply amazing. - Real ability to make an impact on the company culture if you're a self-starter. - Reliable company, been around 200 years. A good place to be. - Crunch membership for $35 a month.

Cons

- Pay could be better. You always feel underpaid. - You need to own your own development. Opportunities and promotions won't be thrown at you. You could be in the same job for years, barely progressing. - Some parts of the company are in survival mode (textbooks), so reorgs are common and growth is limited. - Company culture is different depending on where you sit in the company. - Not all managers are real leaders and capable of developing people. Lack of training and will to standardize that. - Maternity leave could be better.
