Pros

It's a very comfortable place to work, relaxed environment, great benefits. For many years Wiley valued their employees and created an environment that provided job safety.

Cons

Catch 22, great benefits-low pay. Relaxed environment-no room to advance. Slow to update with technological changes in publishing world. Stagnant, when willing to change this company makes drastic decision that don't make sense.

Pros

Good work-life balance, only 37 hour work week. Great IT support and up-to-date work stations. Offered on-site training and classes. Decent benefits and time off. Casual dress code.

Cons

Very corporate environment, a scene out of Office Space many days. Continuous lay-offs and budget cuts in recent years. High turnover, in part due to below average pay and monotonous work. While they promote from within, the job and hiring selection process is very political.
