Pros

Nice benefits package, good work/life balance culture, possibilities for telecommuting, managers offer clear vision of the expectations and goals.

Cons

Workforce disruption, leading to numerous departures of talent, both self-directed and company-directed. Upper management seems to either not care or fails to convey future strategy to employees.

Pros

No pressure, 9-430 working hours.

Cons

Lots of under-achievers, pay is pretty poor, non-existent staff training or improvement program, too many staff that have worked there for too long.

Pros

It's close to home and I really enjoy the people I work with. The benefits are slightly above average and work hours can be flexible.

Cons

It's a big company and change can be very slow and painful. Corporate communications are not always timely or informative. There are no formal career pathways--individuals must find their own. The company can come off as a bit paternalistic, talking as if they're making decisions for the employee as if they were a child needing to be taken care of.
