Pros

Even in am entry-level position, I'm not micromanaged. I'm encouraged to try to take on new projects, lead meetings and exercise autonomy. Managers are responsive and supportive of new endeavors.

Cons

Things are tumultuous in publishing so there are a lot of changes on the horizon.

Pros

Lots of time off, you can learn a lot, great coworkers. Wiley has been around for a long time and maybe have a vision for what's currently going on.

Cons

Low morale. Continuing, seemingly random layoffs. Seeming lack of vision. Pay isn't great for what you do. Not a lot of room for advancement.

Pros

One of the top academic publishers Nice canteen in the Oxford office Good benefits

Cons

No opportunities for advancement at junior level. Pretty bad atmosphere due to lay-offs. Many people who could have left. Not very supportive line managers. A lot of internal politics.
