Pros

Two weeks of training in Orlando when you get hired is a great way to start your career at WillScot and the people are very nice. You can also make a decent commission cheque during the summer months too.

Cons

Our office conditions here were poor. We worked out of one of the trailers we would rent out to customers....which sounds great but it wasn't. There is one washroom, one kitchen (with no sink) and 4 small offices. The walls are paper thin and when someone goes to the washroom you hear everything. The lunch room was equipped with one microwave, one Keurig coffee machine (with one single flavor of coffee) and a fridge. Lastly, you are quite micromanaged when you work her. When you step out of the office for a break in the afternoon (and there isn't much to do since you are on the middle of nowhere on the outskirts of town) you need to check in with one of 3 managers you report to in this role. I also forgot to mention the sales targets in the Calgary market are insane and unattainable!

Pros

My team and office was filled with kind and team-oriented individuals whom I always looked forward to seeing everyday. My boss was flexible and empathetic to the position and challenges I faced. The benefits are rock solid, especially the HSA and $401K plans. Corporate was always introducing new software to help make our jobs easier.

Cons

There were times where big changes to the day-to-day processes weren't communicated until very last minute from corporate. For example, we may get an email on Thursday that a big part of our job is changing effective the following Monday, which didn't give us a lot of time to prepare. Sometimes I felt that certain changes were unnecessary kept us from being as efficient with our time as possible.
