Pros

William Blair provides a dynamic environment to develop a broad set of skills. The work is demanding, but also rewarding. Analysts get exposure to a significant amount of the transaction, including access to client management, financing, and all aspects of due diligence.

Cons

The largest downside is the amount of work that is created for sake of work. This creates a lot of mindless work where if the teams were to work smarter, a lot of this work could be reduced or eliminated.

Pros

Pay was decent and they had a great coffee machine. Excellent company if you want to make money and not experience any personal or career growth.

Cons

No growth in IT at all - No training offered and horrible frat house feel among teams. Unless you were willing to be a yes man and not think outside the box, you were not getting promoted. When I started there - I had one manager who was awesome. When I left - I had 4 managers. Seriously - who wants 4 managers
