Great place to work - smart people focused on business, great managers focused on people

Pros

Headed in the right direction with all the senior leaders. But the best part is the culture and how they treat their people. Great benefits (from an HR offering) but also great perks such as fully stocked break rooms, many instances of food brought in, social outings.

Cons

Being a financial institution, sometimes the technology is not as cool and new as non financial companies. But they are working on that. Also, because it is owned by partners who buy into the ownership, you really have to prove your ask for expense money. Bring it all back to ROI.

Pros

The firm has decent benefits, time off and whatnot. The work is plentiful and challenging. Career growth is possible if positions are available.

Cons

Management is too detached to relate to their co workers. Often times they are unable to see new and creative approaches to problem solving. For all the talk about moving forward and growing into a new future, their practices are staid and sluggish to change. You are told one thing and often expected to do another.

- Name recognition in the Chicago area - Chance to work with large clients

Cons

- Only concern for lack of any kind of diversity is that they get called out on it. Having to complete a webinar on the topic doesn't cut it. - Lack of innovation. Poor technology. - Overly hierarchical and old boy clubs mentality. - HR is only there to support the status quo. Don't go to them with issues or there will be consequences.
