Pros

They always had team member picnics, free flu shots, a turkey dinner -both served and handed out for team members. Around Christmas time the residents put money in an account for a Christmas bonus to us, which was always nice around the holidays.

Cons

Growth in the company was hard.

Pros

I work with a great group of cooks and have learned a lot from them considering I didn't go to culinary school. Free meals at the end of the evening. You get to know the residents, the good and the bad. It is like having 200 grandparents. They always want to know how you are doing and what is going on in your life.

Cons

Management does not listen to what you have to say. They claim to have an open door policy, but what ever you say to them never leaves that conversation. They are stuck in old habits and need new management with new views to try new things.
