Pros

I had some awesome coworkers, benefits and salary are pretty competitive.

Cons

If I could leave zero stars I would. Here is why. Hypocrisy at its finest! The executive team will never allow anyone below them to work remotely but half of the executive team is remote. If you ever ask to work remotely they will shoot you down as fast as they can the executives and upper management can do whatever they want with no repercussions. Hidden/secret agendas: The upper management/executive team has a hidden agenda. The whole upper management has an agenda that they will never include other employees on. They claim they want to work as a team but will go behind everyone’s back and make decisions at the expense of other people's jobs or make you clean up the mess of the executives' decisions. No trust in employees: Wilson will hire people who are experts in their fields and give them problems to solve then the executive team never listens to any suggestions or solutions employees present to solve current issues. Again the upper management has a hidden agenda and will make decisions that will affect your job without any discussion with you or your team. Constantly needing to defend your job and what you do: you will have to constantly defend your job and what you do for Wilson even if you're growing the business. Some of the upper management will see 0 value in your job so you will have to constantly educate and defend your job on why you're important to the company. Constant changing roles and responsibilities: Almost monthly people’s job responsibilities are changing. I personally got my whole job outsourced about 5 months into my job without really any input from me. I am all for helping grow the company and doing what needs to be done but my role did a complete 180 after about 5 months of employment. No culture: The CEO loves to claim we have a team culture or that we need to work together or that we are trying to build an amazing culture at Wilson but that is the exact opposite. The SLC office has 0 culture, I know the St George office is better but man it’s still a long way off. If you take an hour lunch you have to stay an hour later because Wilson wants to squeeze every penny out of you. They have 0 leniency. Laid off a bunch of people a couple of weeks before Christmas. I get layoffs have to happen but not a great move by the leadership team. Overall I would not recommend working at Wilson.

Pros

Great employees and that made working at Wilson a great experience some of the time.

Cons

Where to start... Bruce is convinced that remote work is destroying his company's culture and is in a war against remote work. The company will promise you one thing and then continue to make their in-office policies even more strict. The company is obsessed with how much profit it can make for its owners to the detriment of everyone at the company. The company hit significant profits every month of 2022 and despite that, the company did not give out year-end bonuses, put hiring freezes on all departments, delayed annual pay raises, and had multiple rounds of layoffs to "maintain company health". After all of this, they had the audacity to spend millions of dollars to acquire a new company and brag to the entire company about it within a few weeks of a recent round of layoffs.
