Pros

Good group of co-workers willing to assist when needed.

Cons

Double-standards; outdated systems; lack of communication; rude and uninterested supervisors: no room for advancement; lack of respect; attorney to support staff ratio far too high.

The Biggest But Far From The Best

Pros

For associates looking for experience and then to leave, a good place to be.

Cons

A toxic environment to work. The firm caters to the few and demoralizes the many, with a revolving door at every level of the firm. No collegiality or cooperation. Internal competition is practically required to get ahead. The best and brightest in their practice areas move to other firms when they can. Too many bean counters in administration and in the top partnership (who do not bill any hours) make 2100 billable hours an "excellent year" (a quota) for the (vast majority) of attorneys. Nepotism makes the world go round. The CEO looks the other way. Too many associates get no raises year after year. Go elsewhere, young grads.
