I’m a licensed pharmacy clerk but during the pandemic found myself in job burnout. I took a cashier position at my local Winco Foods. That was nearly two years ago and to my surprise I’m making more money now and have felt a huge sense of relief. One of the biggest perks is that I love my co-workers! After just a short time our friendships have grown so much they feel like family! Seriously, it feels great leaving the corporate world and while still with a nationally recognized company. Also, knowing we all share a common goal and commitment.

Cons

Raises are based on number of hours worked to reach the next step. The more hours you work the faster you can max out your wage but i does take time to accomplish this if you have limited availability.
