Best all-around property management company

Pros

While the company is large and growing, there is still a feeling of community that is lacking in many larger management companies. Windsor offers a lot of positive interaction between on-site staff and corporate staff, and there are many growth opportunities. Fun team building events are held throughout the year, and all staff is included.

Cons

Very restrictive dress code, I would rather lose the clothing allowance to be able to make my own professional choices. Salary is on the low-end for the area, making it hard to recruit new talent.

Don't work in the southeast

Pros

They offer a free apartment to maintenance associates who are "on call". That's really the only benefit they have over any other property management company.

Cons

In my region which is the southeast, upper management is horrible. They move people around constantly and don't care if you like it or not, move wherever they want you to in the region, whenever they want you to, or get fired. And it's usually with very little notice. I have been screwed over for the last time by this regional and will not be with this company much longer.

Terrible upper management. Make promises then go back on their word. Ignore apt breakins. Request for time off are refused. Too much staff turn over in CA
