Pros

Expectations are clear and the training is there for you, just sign up! The properties, even if older, are very well maintained, making it an easy sell. I always felt valued as an employee. The commission structure and hourly pay is better than most other companies. The benefits are better too, $1000 a year to buy new clothes! Yes, working weekends is a must, but most properties have shorter hours which is nice. They offer more paid holidays than most companies. I always felt like the employee & the customer were most valued with Windsor, more than the dollar.

Cons

Smaller company, means not a lot of room for promotions. Properties are few and not too close to each other, which is hard if you want to work at one property and live at another. There is some favoritism, but also opportunities for those who work hard. They don't fire people. This is also a good aspect, but if you have a bad employee in your team it takes a long time to get rid of them, if you ever do.

Pros

Excellent benefits, above average compensation, decent work/life balance, amazing co-workers and mentors, opportunity for advancement and great training department

Cons

I cannot think of any Con's but I am unable to proceed until I type something in the box. I am grasping here but my only negative is that I have worked every weekend for the last 6 months. Something that is very common in this industry.

Pros

As far as rental properties go, Windsor is one of the better companies. It's a brutal business and all onsite employees take a lot of abuse but the corporate office, and most important, Gardner Wallace, seem to care about their employees. This guy would show up unannounced and tell the offices to close and everyone meet at the pier or a restaurant and they would feed us at a great place then take us on a fishing trip! I was on call maintenance and received an apartment, rent free.

Cons

Many of the regional VP's, educated or not are cliquish and can be childish. A few other reviews nailed it. If you're not part of the in crowd, you're treated like a clown. Pay is not great...the apartment is great but can become a prison once the renters know where you live. As I said before, Gardner is a good guy. It's unfortunate that many of the upper management are too selfish to follow his lead.
