      Free breakfast, thanksgiving gift card, Christmas party, and cubicle.

      Cons

      Bad pay No commission Bad management No vacation No benefits Nepotism Family business No respect Management can take vacations and they aren’t taking any pay cuts on commission. Healthcare recruiter lasts a maximum of three months. They’ll give us a lavish Christmas party but won’t pay us our commission. A new break room doesn’t pay for our kids.

      My Bizarre Foray into Recruitment

      At the very least, you get your paycheck on time.

      The time I spent at Winston was the one of the weirdest chapters of my life. It's clear they're trying to fill the temporary placement department with "hipper" recruiters, but they wouldn't actually know "hip" if it danced in front of them wearing nothing but a pair of Ray Bans. Pathetic, really. I got the sense that most people are there because they're totally unqualified to be in the workforce in the first place. No onboarding, no training, serious churn issues, and filled with lunatics who have absolutely no idea what's happening in the outside world. Management can't properly read between the lines of an applicant's resume, so it shouldn't be expected that the recruiters can properly manage the task either.

      We are sorry to hear you feel this way. Winston has been able remain a respected staffing industry partner to many clients for over 50 years in the New York marketplace. Regarding " churn issues", we have very little turnover and a matter a fact many of our staff have been with us over 20 years with many employed 10-20 years. New employees receive training to Winstons' operations and ATS system.

      Terrible benefits, your only as good as the money you bring in. Disrespectful to woman. No raises ever. No growth.

      We are sorry to hear you feel this way. Winston offers a laundry list of benefits to its full-time staff as well to our temporary employees.Depending on your position within the company, raises are looked at on an annual basis.Over 60 % of Winston's staff is women.
