Pros
The company itself is good. Pay isn’t bad and we were able to work remote for a bit. They pay health insurance so you don’t have a premium.
Cons
Extremely unprofessional management in the AP department. Lights were off so a dark and depressing environment. The manager would come over and gossip and curse and two of the employees talked off and on all day which was distracting. Also, they brought us back into the office in May 2021 and there was construction going on until I left in October. Constant drilling/hammering/construction noise above us. Not to mention, there was no need to be back in the office when our jobs could be done entirely from home. Manager said if we had appointments or were sick we could work from home no problem, but when I did this I was told it was happening “quite often” and they wanted us in the office. BUT, said manager went and took close to double the days I did working from home with probably no problem. Don’t tell us we can do something and then yell at us for it. I would highly recommend not working for this department. Other departments might be fine, but not AP. No 401K, just a savings account that accrues interest. No sick pay. Just 10 days vacation.
