Pros

Independence and ability to work outside of job description. Excellent medical benefits.

Cons

Layers of bureaucracy have been added in recent years. Senior and longstanding employees have departed which has taken away from the employee focused culture that allowed Wintrust to attract and maintain talent. Morale was very low in 2016.
